Approval of Minutes
● Roger McCollum moves to approve the meeting minutes from May 14, 2024. Patti Bruers seconds. All Trustees vote aye. Motion passes.
● Roger McCollum moves to approve the meeting minutes from the June 24, 2024 special meeting. Patti Bruers seconds. All Trustees vote aye. Motion passes.

Approval of Financial Reports
● Roger McCollum moves to approve the May 2024 and June 2024 Financial Reports. Rene McCollum seconds. All Trustees vote aye. Motion passes.

Director’s Report - Director’s Report was reviewed.

Old Business - Update on building maintenance and repairs.
● The new outdoor book drop was delivered and has been installed. The concrete around the book drop has also been repaired. DIMCO in Dekalb pays for scrap metal, so Roger McCollum will take the old drop box to DIMCO to receive payment for the library.
● The new air conditioner and furnace have been installed. The new air conditioner works great. The invoice has not yet been received.
● The soffits were repaired and painted.
● The handrails for the outside steps in front are rusting at the bottom and will need to be repaired.

New Business -
● Hiring of part-time employee: Izzy will be leaving the third week of July. At this point two people have applied for this position. This will be a circulation clerk position starting at minimum wage.
● Resignation of Rob Brianne: Rob has submitted his letter of resignation. Patti Bruers moves to accept Rob’s letter of resignation. Rene McCollum seconds. All Trustees vote aye. Motion passes.
● 2025 Consolidated Election update: Dates were reviewed.
● Potential appointment to Board of Trustees: Roger McCollum moves to appoint Jennifer Garden as a Trustee. Patti Bruers seconds. All Trustees vote aye. Motion passes. Jennifer will finish out Rob’s term which expires in 2025.
● Election of officers: Patti Bruers moves to appoint Roger McCollum as Board president. Stephanie Brezovic seconds. All Trustees vote aye. Motion passes.
